Positon:       Process Pipefitters

Location:      Midland & Hemlock, MI

Description:  Process Pipefitters using blue prints and isometrics perform pipe measurments, lay outs and installations in large manufacturing environments. Pipefitters do pre-installation fabrications in the field or shop sites and then install the pipe in the desiganated area.

Pipefitters at J.E. Johnson, Inc. work closely with Process Welders in project lay outs and fabrication of piping for project installation.

Candidates will be working on projects located outside and on elevated work platform areas. Depending on project work load - work schedules can be extended to 10-12 hour days including weekend work. Travel is to project locations within 30 miles surrounding the Midland Area. Majority of work is on processing piping located in 2 major chemical producing facilities.

Education:   High School or G.E.D. with Pipefitting school training a plus!

Experience:  Candidate should have minimum of 5 years experience in the Pipefitting Trade.
